Thanks for the info Rose! Unfortunately I can't afford your services. I want to start an "At Home Sewing Business" for profit and donate to needy causes for tax purposes. I need funding for start up as well, like an Embroidery Machine, thread, material, shelving for storage, advertising etc. I don't really see a need, just starting out, to hire someone else, but who knows if I get that busy and my business would happen to grow, maybe I should apply for a grant to create jobs. Thank you Rose. Your website is awsome and I wish you lots of luck.

I've just started researching grant info on Individual Business Grants, but wonder if the governement supports a business for individuals who want to sew for profit and/or non- profit organizations eg; battered women's shelters, hospitals, children's homes, orphanages, indian reservations, foriegn impovered countries etc. ? I don't have a degree in teaching and am not in the "Earned Income" catagory, but don't make enough to start my own business without much needed funding. I don't want to get a loan and am hoping to find a grant to support my wishes. I want to make money at my sewing business, yet would like to sew items for the needy and underprivaleged too. I've been sewing since the age of 10 and this is my passion. I would like to find funding for an Embroider Machine if possible(No "Brother" machines) and don't care to do alterations for the public.Mostly simple projects. Can you help me? Thank you, Diana Ross Weatherford, Texas 76088
